For those thinking about starting their CIPD qualification, see my advice on choosing the right provider and course for you.
Many CIPD students come to me when they are not receiving enough detail in the guidance from their course providers. They ask questions only to be given the same answers already provided, or ambiguous answers which cause even more confusion. Sometimes questions take days or even weeks to be responded to, by which time they have lost momentum on their assignment and feel like they are starting all over again.
Others struggle to even get started. They cannot make sense of the question and spend hours going around in circles, second guessing what is actually required.
With distance learners especially, many students sign up to their course with good intent, only to fall behind after missing a submission deadline, or are running out of time to complete the course in their support period.

Everyone learns at a different pace. You may choose to cover a whole assignment or focus your attention on two questions.
As a general guide, we can cover a full assignment brief (before you start) in 60 minutes. For drafted or referred answers we can cover 3-4 in 30 minutes, 7-8 in 60.
My aim is to point you in the right direction and help you with the technique of assignment writing.
