Our video guides follow the current CIPD Indicative Content, which was last updated in July 2024. This is the syllabus that all course providers base their assessments on and so this provides reassurance to you that the video guides will support you in writing your assignment, regardless of which provider you are with.

We cover each Assessment Criterion (AC) in detail within the guide. Find out how to:

• Read and understand the requirements of each AC
• Structure your answer
• Scope out the content to include in each AC
• Ensure you get the balance of quantity vs quality within your answer
• Select relevant theories / models
• Include real-life examples to enhance your response

The aim of these guides is simple - to give you all the information you need to be confident in writing an assignment that will pass first time.

Often students struggle with the actual assignment writing, rather than the HR content. These guides give you clarity on what to do, and what not to do, to pass.

Each guide lasts around 1 hour and comes with a handy PDF guide which covers referencing, relevant theories and LOTS of links to useful sources to help your research.
